A total of 70 credits of elective are needed to complete diploma requirements. These can be earned in the following areas:
- Regular Credit Courses, other than “Core Foundational Courses” completed at adult school sites.
- Internship (Max of 20 credits, instructor guidance required) or current Work Experience (Max. 70 credits toward electives. Student must be currently enrolled in program and guided by an instructor at site)
- Community Service Learning (Max 15 credits. Student must be enrolled in program and guided by an instructor at site)
- Non credit or certificate program courses offered at adult ed sites or other institutions such as College of Siskiyous or Siskiyou Training and Employment (STEP).
- College credit courses
- Passage of “all” or “sections” of GED
