We are here to expand adult education services in the far northern part of California. We hope to offer Adult Education Pathways to anyone looking to successfully complete their goals. Adult Education Pathways offers opportunities such as High School Diploma/GED completion and beyond. Our network of educational providers, workforce organizations and human services programs are here to connect adults with useful platforms that expand academic and work readiness skills to increase career opportunities.

We Are Here to Help You through the Process

Don’t let any barriers hold you back! We want to help overcome any hurtles you come across on your path to success. We will assist in High School completion, obtaining a GED, learning or improving English, starting college or entering a new career. We will connect you to financial assistance, academic counseling and other support services such as child care and/or help with transportation. From filling out forms to tutoring and everything in between, our free personal assistance paired with convenient locations and schedules makes Adult Education Pathways the perfect choice for busy adults.

Public Services Paramedic & EMS
The EMS and Paramedic programs train students to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury, provide advanced life support, communicate with emergency medical services personnel and transport patients to the hospital. The paramedic program is a highly interactive, fast paced, hands-on experience, requiring student participation. This program meets or exceeds all state and national guidelines for paramedic training, and includes: Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Providers, Advanced Medical Life Support, International Trauma Life Support, and Geriatric Emergency Medical Services.

Public Services Fire Technology
The Fire/Emergency Response Technology program at College of the Siskiyous is designed to provide the preemployment skills required for the career firefighter. The program is approved as an Accredited Regional Training Program by the California State Board of Fire Services. The accredited status allows COS to operate as an arm of the State Fire Training Office and to test and issue certificates locally. The program prepares students for careers in firefighting, provides in-service training to career and volunteer firefighters, and includes certification as a Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and Fire Officer.
